Flask

Wax injection, detailing, sprue and preparation of wax tree are all part of the set up for preparing the flasks and then burn out and casting.

Its actually all these steps involved that get us to the point where we can prepare the flask.

What makes a good flask? Careful steps in the above mentioned, but finally an oxygen free environment. At Flow Jewelry Studio we use our CIMO oxygen free system for preparing each flask in our casting department. This system is a global standard in the controlled environment of oxygen free preparation of casting satin and pouring into each flask. A true closed system.

Where more traditional set ups mix quickly with a mixer and pour using a vacuum to remove bubbles it does not consider the oxygen being mixed into the casting satin.

In the end we get an oxygen-free satin mix and pour, eliminating one more enemy in the process of casting and jewelry production.
